Cold Plunge Cost Calculator
Estimate what a cold plunge really costs — not just the sticker price, but the monthly running cost and the 5-year total. The big surprise for most people: an ice-based tub is cheap to buy but expensive to run, while a chiller is the opposite.

How this is estimated: Chiller cost assumes the unit cycles to hold temperature, with average draw = rated wattage × a duty factor for your climate/insulation, plus a small circulation-pump allowance, at your electricity rate. Ice cost = bags per plunge × cost per bag × plunges. These are good-faith estimates to compare options — your real costs vary with ambient temperature, target temperature, tub insulation and local prices.
